Sukitte Ii Na Yo

I'm sorry for not uploading the blog in a long time. Anyways, since it was Valentine's Day the other day I thought that some people might like a manga with smut. If you don't know what smut is, it is basically "Highly developed stories with love lines and other things that appeal to women that also include a lot of sexually explicit scenes." Now, the following manga that I am going to suggest to you is something that not everyone will prefer. The overall story is based on romance, comedy, drama, school life, shoujo, smut. The anime is a cute love story so I recommend it for people that likes a bit of romance. The manga/anime is called...

Sukitte Ii Na Yo/ Say I Love You
What is about?

Quiet and unassuming Mei Tachibana is 16-years-old, but has spent her high school years without making friends or getting a boyfriend because of a childhood incident that left her believing that people will betray each other sooner or later. When she encounters popular boy Yamato Kurosawa, he becomes interested in her and it is through their tentative friendship and blossoming relationship that Mei ultimately begins to branch out and befriend others.
My Review
Sukitte Ii na Yo was a good romance manga/anime. It was neither too girly nor boring and was fun to read/watch. I watched the anime and it can keep you stuck to it until the end through its great love story, the beautiful art, the variety of the characters and their opinions. The relationship between the characters is adorable. Friendship is important and I’m glad that it had it in this anime it portrayed having friends and a social life as something Mei wanted to have, rather than her shying away from it all.
